Casio Edifice 3D/CGI Visualisations

Overview

Continuing our partnership with Casio, we were asked to create some 3D motion graphics for their brand new flagship model, EQB-2000. Packed with innovative features, our task was to create individual episodes highlighting each of the benefits in turn: The Bluetooth smartphone link, Solar power, and the innovative phone finder function.

Our process

The process initially was started by creating a highly detailed model of the watch we were looking to showcase. Once this has been created we then turned to Blender to create a fully textured rendered version of the watch and furthermore a series of environments that could be used to accentuate the watch details. The 3D model must be textured and lit to give them depth and realism. This can be done using shading and lighting techniques to create the desired visual effects.

We developed several concepts and created rough prototypes using 3D modelling software, making sure the designs met the technical requirements for the Casio brand including size, resolution, and compatibility.

We created a series of episodic content pieces - highlighting various and unique features of the EQB-2000 watch. Delivering different sized ratios for social media platforms is important to ensure optimal visual representation on each platform. It ensures that images and videos will be displayed correctly and won't be cropped or distorted on the platform and gives the best possible visual impact and user experience.
