McLaren Shadow Team

Lucas Blakely is a professional esports racer and a member of the McLaren Shadow team. The McLaren Shadow team is a competitive esports racing team that competes in various virtual racing events using the latest simulation technology. As a member of the team, Lucas Blakely leverages his skills and expertise to represent McLaren in the world of esports racing, competing against other top teams and drivers from around the world.

Through his participation in the McLaren Shadow team, Lucas is able to showcase his talent and drive, helping to raise the profile of both McLaren and the world of esports racing.

The McLaren Shadow Studio is located within the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK. It is a state-of-the-art facility specifically designed to support the training and development of the McLaren Shadow Esports team. The studio is equipped with high-end hardware and software, including simulation and virtual reality technology, that allows the team to practice and hone their skills in a realistic, race-like environment.

Our Process

The main hero piece of content here was the reveal video for Lucas Blakely - Set in a dark and mysterious MTC we see an unknown esports driver arrive and make his way to the Shadow Studio, once there the hype builds and reveals Lucas as the new driver for McLaren Shadow.

In addition, we created a series of episodic content pieces, filming with the team members of the McLaren Shadow Esports team. The content ranged from a tour of the Boulevard at MTC, to biography pieces about the team and was all uploaded to social platforms.
